NUAA has focused on discipline development
as the key to improving education quality and building a first class university.
Through adjustment and adaptation, NUAA has greatly optimized
its resources by "strengthening advantages,high-lighting features,exploring frontier areas,and balancing developments".
During the past 50 years, NUAA has enhanced its core disciplines
and given priority to the development of national defense disciplines.
Meanwhile, it seeks an all-round and well-balanced development by
focusing on applied science and technology disciplines, supporting
natural science and humanity disciplines, cultivating new and frontier
disciplines or interdisciplinary fields, turning itself into an advanced comprehensive university with unique characteristics. Now it has formed a pattern
of great strength and diversity to suit the increasing demand of scientific,
economic and social development. Now the University's key disciplines boast a lot of
scientists and scholars quite well-known both at home and abroad.
The Graduate School of NUAA was awarded "Model Unit for Graduate Education" by Ministry of Education. |
