(CIST) includes Department of Electronic Engineering and Department
of Computer Science and Engineering.
Department of Electronic Engineering offers for doctoral degree one
program of communication and information system, and for master degree
four programs of communication and information system, signal and
information processing, electromagnetic field and microwave technology,
circuits and systems. The focus of their study is in the fields of
information retrieving and processing, digital communication, electromagnetic
radiation and scattering, remote control and remote testing, audio-visual
information processing, digital system design and automatic testing
techniques.
Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers for doctoral
degree one program of computer applied technology, and for master
degree two programs of computer applied technology and computer software
and theory. The focus of the study of computer applied technology
is in the fields of artificial intelligence, visual information processing
and pattern recognition, database, software engineering, computer
network, neural-network computation, information security, computer
simulation, CIMS, data exploration, data bank, CAD/CAM and multi-computer
system.
Programs for Bachelor Degree
1. Information Engineering: This program has three branches of studies,
namely electronic engineering, communication engineering, information
engineering. It tries to train advanced talents with basic skills
of electronic engineers.
2. Computer Science and Technology: It aims at training advanced
engineering and technical talents in computer science and technology.
3. Electronic and Information Science and Technology: It tries to
train advanced technical talents in the fields of electronic information
science and technology, computer science and technology.
