College of Automation Engineering is a multi-discipline teaching and research college which has a widespread and profound influence in the fields of automatic control, navigation and guidance, electrical engineering, measuring and testing. It is has four departments and one institute: Department of Automatic Control; Department of Electrical Engineering; Department of Measuring and Testing Technology; Department of Biomedical Engineering and Institute of Navigational Control.

Programs for Bachelor Degree
1. Electrical Engineering and Automation: It aims at training advanced talents who will do engineering design, system operation, research, and economic management in industrial process control, movement control, automation instruments, measuring and control technology, computer application, communication, information and modern computer network.
2. Detection, Guidance and Control Technology: It ties to train advanced technical and managerial talents who will do the technical work such as designing and manufacturing of intelligent instruments, sensors and computer testing and control systems in the fields of computer testing, control and measuring.
3. Electrical Engineering and Automation in Civil Aviation: It aims at training advanced engineering and technical talents with the knowledge of electrical engineering and its automation, and of electrical engineering of civil aviation.
4. Biomedical Engineering: It aims at training advanced talents with combined knowledge of science, technology and medicine, who will do research, develop new products and manage business in the fields of biomedical engineering, medical instruments and their related electronic, computer and informational techniques.
