College of Energy and Power Engineering(CEPE) consists of three departments and one research institute as follows: Department of Power Engineering; Department of Vehicle Engineering; Department of Energy; and Aerospace Power Engineering Institute. CEPE aims at training talents in the fields of aerospace power engineering, vehicle engineering, energy exploration and application. It now has 900 undergraduate students, 120 graduate students studying for master and doctoral degrees. There is also a postdoctoral exchange center.

Programs for Bachelor Degree
1. Aerospace Propulsion Theory and Engineering: It aims at training advanced engineering and technical talents with the knowledge of aircraft power device or power device control system.
2. Thermal Energy and Power Engineering: It tries to train advanced engineering and technical talents with the basic knowledge of thermal energy and engineering, thermal conducting, fluid mechanics, power mechanism and power engineering.
3. Machine Design and Manufacturing and Automation( automobile and motor engineering): It aims at training advanced talents of mechanical engineering ( automobile and motor engineering ).
4. Aircraft Power Engineering ( civil aeroplanes and their engines ): It aims at training advanced talents who will meet the requirements of civil aviation modernization in China and of international practice, who will have a better theory and a broader range of knowledge, and who will have the basic skills of engineers with better abilities to get to work and to adapt themselves.
